A law graduate from the University of Malaya who has been admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, Selvarany Rasiah practiced law with a law firm in Kuala Lumpur before joining the KLSE Group. She has held various positions in the Exchange Group of Companies and has significant experience in the business of stock exchange and the capital markets. She played an active role in strengthening the capital market post the Asian Financial Crisis and is no stranger to the Malaysian Capital Market. She was previously the Chief Regulatory Officer of the Exchange. Selvarany founded Kapital DX after a 27-year stint at Bursa Malaysia. She was formerly the Chief Commercial Officer and prior to that, Chief Regulatory Officer at Bursa Malaysia. During her tenure at Bursa Malaysia, she held various roles and gained expertise in the operations of a stock exchange, business development and market regulation.
